CCRW to Help Evaluate Essays in Middle School Competition

We are incorporating Constitution Day with Ladies in Red this year. Middle school 7th and 8th grade students were given the opportunity to participate in an essay competition explaining "Why is the freedom of speech important in a free country? Provide an example of how you use your freedom of speech responsibly". Zack dropped off the competition information at Watertown middle schools, and he will collect the completed essays. Various club members will read all of the essays and choose the top 3. Those 3 will receive a $25 gift card to Target. We will read winning essay at the Ladies in Red event.
